James Landers
President/CEO
Leading High Point’s vision and commitment is founder James Landers, the company’s President and CEO. Landers has developed a myriad of residential projects over the past decade, including numerous single-family homes, urban infill projects and town home communities. It is Landers’ expertise in real estate development that helped fuel High Point’s undertaking and completion of several successful projects in the Tampa Bay area.
Landers specializes in site acquisition, project development and all aspects of marketing. In terms of strategic planning, he not only sets the direction for High Point, but also leads the team in executing the company’s vision with tenacity and passion. Landers’s extensive experience includes founding a similar venture prior to High Point in 2001. His leadership and vision helped take that company from a start-up to a $20 million company in just two years. With a background in corporate finance, Landers also had roles in other organizations that he helped grow from inception throughout his career, and in some Fortune 500 companies. > Back To Top
Alan W. Hudson
Vice President of Construction
Alan is a graduate of Southern College of Technology with a degree in construction management. Currently a member of Associated Builders and Contractors, Alan serves as the Vice President of Construction for High Point Development’s commercial and multi-family endeavors.
Prior to joining the management team, Mr Hudson was an Assistant Project Manager for Hardin Construction and worked on projects that include 345 Bayshore condominiums and Capital One’s $16 million Service facility. > Back To Top
Jason Rappaport
Vice President of Acquisitions/Sales
Jason Rappaport is the Vice President of Acquisitions overseeing all site selection for High Point’s projects. Mr. Rappaport’s primary role is land acquisition for commercial and residential developments while also assisting in project development. Mr. Rappaport has extensive experience in evaluating and acquiring property, having successfully contracted and purchased a number of quality properties. Mr. Rappaport’s responsibilities and keys to successful acquisitions include: providing market research by conducting thorough and comprehensive due diligence and a detailed financial analysis for each property to determine if a site is suitable for development.
Prior to joining the management team at High Point, Mr. Rappaport was a site acquisition manager at Belleair Development Group, a developer based out of Pinellas County, specializing in all areas of development including banks, drugstores, office parks, and multi-family development. Mr. Rappaport is also a licensed real estate salesperson in Florida and is born and raised in Tampa, Fl. > Back To Top
Matt Campo
VP of Land Development
Matthew D. Campo. P.E. brings his diversified background and in-depth experience to give High Point a unique advantage in the land development market. As the company’s Vice President of Land Development, Campo oversees the entire development process for each High Point project – from site selection through final construction.
Campo has more than 12 years of civil engineering experience through governmental service and engineering consulting. His development portfolio includes town homes, master planned residential subdivisions, affordable housing, condominiums, governmental facilities, and a variety of commercial developments. Campo graduated from the University of South Florida and is a Florida Registered Professional Engineer.
